I added some more to premium bonds this month, I can’t help but feel they prematurely dropped the rate though considering interest rates are still held at 5.25% :/

If I had 50 grand to put somewhere, it would be in a stocks and shares ISA where I make a guaranteed large amount of interest. I'd then spend £20 of that interest a month on the lottery and ITV competitions to get my thrills. Same kind of odds but my money is paying for it and earning me more.

I just use it as a place to store funds that I might need in foreseeable future, with the added bonus of generating tax free returns. It’s a decent option for those who max out yearly ISA and personal savings allowance.

I don’t get why people would choose this over a 5% interest rate in a bank or as uninvested cash on T212? 🤔 I see how it could be fun and give some hope of a big win, but at a loss most of the time, no? Great video as ever :)

i have checked who won and how much winning people get, and found that some of put 25 quid, , won 10k and the other person put 50 quid and won 100k ! unbelievable
