Playing a chord solo seems impossible and difficult but, actually, there are quite a few things you can do to make it a lot easier and still sound great. In this video, I am going to cover 5 hacks that will help you add chord solos to your jazz guitar playing and that is anyway the first thing you want to do.

I love how, although it's clear that Jens has voluminous knowledge of chords and jazz phrasing, he's able to strip a lot of that down to give the aspiring jazz player "a way in", so to speak... a framework which is not so complex as to frustrate and discourage newbies, but not so simple that everything you play with it will sound simplistic and trite. These videos are a much-needed _bridge_ for players trying to get into jazz imrpov. Thanks for all of your work, Jens!
