"In Shakespeare's Henry VI, (part two) Dick the Butcher demands "the first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers." Consider whether this is the public's attitude of lawyers today and whether that perception is likely to change over the next ten years?"

Beware of reciting this in the U.S.A.!!!  If law enforcement contacted a random lawyer in the U.S.A, who claimed he or she felt threatened (like it's an emotion or something, instead of some action or conduct actually committed) after talking with the police, who have now tampered with the alleged victim, and fabricated and invented evidence, however baseless and unsubstantiated,  the prosecutor's office could charge you with making, via a third party, aka a hearsay credible threat, and you could be sent to prison for years!  If they cop searches you car, they could pull out the tire iron from your car's trunk, and act as though (since the whole world's a stage), they could act as though it's a dangerous instrument or deadly weapon, so in addition to making a BS threat, battery or armed criminal action here we come!  Remember, the NACDL (the national association of criminal defense lawyers) will likely nearly coerce you to not testify in the U.S.A. in your own defense, so there's a high likelihood of a default judgment against you!  If the NACDL is going to suggest not testifying, why does anyone even go to their own "day in Court"?!  Think your lawyer is or will be required to talk with you before trial for even sixty seconds, take notes, get your side, or even object to anything during trial, or call even one person in your defense?!  Think you'll get a fair & speedy trial?!  THINK AGAIN!!!  If you're indicted, even by grande jury, with literally zero evidence, you're done in the U.S.!  No evidence?!  Who cares!  Mere speculation and hearsay is all it takes, even if it's literally all total BS!  Kiss you life, career, career path, (and after the jailhouse medical doctors get to you, kiss your) mind and body away!  I have just one word, for all your fingers!  GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, Have fun when and if you get out of the prison industrial complex, because in the USA there's felony disenfranchisement from the labor force; So basically you won't be able to even work at McDonnald's!  Plus, the entire appeals process, to top it off, is a joke, just a facade for the people to believe in regarding justice.
