I would like to recall the courage that a humble country lawyer and future President of the United States, John Adams, exhibited in defending British soldiers on trial after the Boston massacre, despite the obvious risk to his reputation among some members of his family and community. It truly was a noble deed. I want to acknowledge also the courage of lawyers who currently represent Republicans, sometimes risking their reputations and their licenses to practice law.

People hate the law and the lawyers. Best thing for that is remembering, "The best way to get a bad law repealed is to enforce it strictly” but then lawyer also became the politician to be the judge and the criminal so only his competition gets the law.
