Nicely done guys! Your video is a lot better than the one I did on this product :)

For the benefit of other viewers, I will say that I've been using one of these since this year's Bushcraft Show (April 2016) and it is not only the best one-man tent I've ever used, it has gotten me back into ground dwelling in general (I was solely a hammock guy before I got this tent).

Not having to carry bulky & heavy dedicated tent poles is a MASSIVE bonus in my book, especially as I've always carried extendable trekking poles anyway.

Used at least one night a week since April (typically 2 nights a week) and it's still as flawless now as it was on that first night :)

Hi, just thought I'd leave a comment to the backpacking community. Being no stranger to tents and trails over the last 30years. I bought this tent just over 2 years ago. The design looked good and the DD tarp superlight tarp tent appeared with
advertising too good to be true. I used this tent on only 4 occasions the last was on the Gr 221 in Majorca. Unfortunately this tarp tent let me down on a crucial stage from Soller to Lluc monastery. The floor seam on the main entrance completely ripped open on the main entrance to the tent as I was bedding down for the night. A design flaw? Probably. A very simple solution for the manufacturer would have been to use a nylon strap across the width on the outer side of floor similar to what Terra Nova do on their Laserlight. Fortunately for me i had an old Rab bivvy that saved the day and night! A few other pointers worth mentioning, too many guide lines are a bit of a pain for setting up. Remember simplicity is always the way to go when you're on the trail. this material is not as good as some of the mainstream makers such as Six Moons Design, MRS, Z packs etc etc. A fair bit of condensation can be expected too. This can be expected on single skin tents, mesh inners can make difference. I am just sorry for the negative review I've got had to put here. Guess I'm lucky I've been able to compare with a collection of 10 tents from the best manufacturers. Moral of the story stick with the best tarps and tents. One last mention I hear DD TARPS make excellent hammocks.

Wow, that looks great, and at 650 grams definitely worth looking at. Nice demo as well. Enjoy video very much. You obviously listen to customers. Great stuff.

This is a nice design, I can see a future classic coming on :-) I look forward to trying one and would be good to see a video in foul weather to see how stable it is.

Lovely tent, light and packable. Only issue is the pole sleeve, an extra inch and the poles would fit so much better.

Hello DD Hammocks! Could this tent be used without any poles and set up a ridgeline to support the tent?

Very helpful video. How good would you say this would be in reasonably strong wind? assuming it's set up with optimal positioning and tension.

I’m interested in this tent for bike packing however I don’t want to carry 2 poles. How does it work with 1 pole? I can’t find a video anywhere. Cheers

nice looking tent.  A little heavier than what I am used to.  I would be scared to buy without hearing reviews from backpackers.  Looks like it runs about 200 American dollars.  That n the same price range as a six moon design tent. I would be more likely to go with SMD.  I'm pretty well know in my backpacking community.  Send me one and I will review it on you tube
