for those wondering why Gary almost always takes his own energy it's because each individual energy is considered individually. Each time he attacks he has at least four energy on him so he usually has the most making it most likely on of his energies will be discarded

That moment mid-sip of your drink when the Eevee almost high rolled your Gyarados lols 11:21. Missed your reaction a little in the cut but super funny on stream haha. Anyways awesome vids, keep up the great work 💯

the way the energy loss works from Gyarados EX attack is basically this:
Put all energy on the active and bench pokemon on both sides into 1 bowl and draw 1 energy - that energy is gone. It can even disappear from the pokemon your are KO'ing.... wich is not that bad because at least it didn't remove it from your team but still kinda wasted potential if the opponent had energy elsewhere.

Since Gyarados usually have most of the energy (4+) when attacking, it usually remove it from itself.
It's not a huge deal most of the time but it does limit your pivot options and kinda ruin the potential fun with Vaporeon.

Gyarados just discards a random energy. One time, I had 16 energies on Gyarados yet it discarded opponent's energy.

180 HP on a stage one is ridiculous. This is easily the best deck currently in the game.

11:28 This guy's Eevees were well trained 0_0

Weird conclusion to the video. Good deck for sure shame Misty is in it she is just so polarizing

I don’t know the exact math but basically if you have 5 and they have 1 you have a higher chance of losing energy because you have more energy and it basically puts all your energy into a pool and randomly selects one

Feels good to do this to mew-two decks

I use Fearow to troll the opponent instead of Druddigon in this deck. I will try this too. It is really a very strong deck.

There's gotta be a bug with Gary because the wording on the card clearly states its suppose discard energies from all Pokémon, not just itself. So I hope they fix it soon

it's actually not a 50/50
the more energy you have, the more likely it takes away an energy from you

Wondering if its worth dropping one frokie for a Gio. How often would you get two greninjas in play? Maybe even drop drug for a second Gio (Also, I say this seeing you got two Greninja's online.... But I guess I would then say, did that make a difference in you winning?)

The only reason it did well was because majority of players play Mewtwo, and Mewtwo decks aren't built to deal with 180hp, and a Pokémon that can one shot it, that's it, literally the ONLY reason it did so well this week. Celebi goes 50/50 against it, and Pikachu just dominates this deck. If Mewtwo figures out how to deal with it, then it'll drop down and sit with Charizard in the meta.
