How that chain is still in business is mind boggling.

I went to Subway 2 or 3 years ago and a foot-long was $5. I went the other day and it was $15...I won't be back..

Oh… someone “hacked” the owner’s bank account? That’s the excuse they’re going with?? Either the owner is HUGELY incompetent, or the owner is a terrible liar.

This is why you don't have employer loyality, or give 2 weeks notice.

Maybe it’s because people don’t wanna pay over $12 for a foot-long that used to cost $5…

No surprise. Subway has been losing money for years. How about a bread sandwich with 1/2 ounce of meat. 👎

And these same corporate bastards are always flapping their gums and chewing their cud about employee loyalty. We're all a family. Biggest scam job there is.

Me, and my family of 5 stopped going to Subway years ago... their food is not worth the prices they charge.

According to Restaurant Business Online, Subway has shuttered more than 6, 500 restaurants since 2016

$14 bucks per sandwich it was a matter of time. Not paying employees is criminal!

CNBC: "The private equity firm Roark Capital is buying Subway, ending the sandwich chain’s more than five decades of family ownership..." Now things make more sense. Subway is getting the Red Lobster treatment.

Subway is in financial trouble nationwide, everybody got their high minimum wage, and now they're going to zero wage.

I forget who covered it but I watched a show on how private equity firms buy up everything from Toys R Us to Subways to Red Lobsters to hospitals and the common thread in all of these is that these places end up closing down. These things will continue to happen so long as we allow businesses to come along and gut places with no consequences…but the fall out is tremendous. These are people’s livelihoods and in the cases of hospitals, PAY ATTENTION. Cause one day you will need life saving care but because these places come along and bankrupt hospitals, you’ll have to wait on a 50 mile long drive to the nearest hospital to you and you better hope that you survive the ride AND the wait from an overburdened hospital having to take on entire cities worth of the sick and infirmed. This is how life-ending mistakes happen. 😅

Employers expect two weeks notice but will fire you immediately without warning, or close all their shops without warning or any information. I think a change is coming...

Who trusts their employers? And they get mad when you don't put in your 2 weeks smh.

I hope they all close. I just got tired of employees carrying on conversations and not listening and the giving dirty looks when no tip is included. Plus the quality has suffered in the last years.

If you live in Oregon and file for unemployment, you will be quickly processed and can expect your benefits sometime next year. If you're lucky.
