I swear I clicked so fast thinking it was 3 days under $500 😂

the idea that $500 a day at Disney is considered a deal is insane. I fondly remember back in 1994 getting a full 3-park pass ticket at a reseller for $18 and having a blast for the day at all 3 parks for less then $40 total. Things certainly have changed in 29 years.

"Remember, this $500 a day doesn't include your park ticket or where you'll be staying" Then that kinda defeats the point of this video don't you think? 💀

When are we going to get one of these videos for us young married childless couples…. Please. It’s so hard to find content about adult only trip day planning

The secret to staying on a budget is paying in cash, not by card. Once that cash starts leaving our pockets, we’ll slow down on the Mickey ice cream bars! 😍

Don't get it twisted, this is on top of the well over a GRAND PER DAY for a family for everything else. And that only if you *don't* have to fly to FL first!
Disney is no longer worth the hassle or expense, they don't give enough quality to justify the price you pay for them to waste money on terrible lands/rides and media acquisitions being their excuse for loss of convenience and perks instead of doing the smart thing and building another gate. Disney is now an overpriced, disappointing, PIA and they want you to *pay extra* or enter a literal lottery their rides. It's rundown, they don't pay a living wage and understaff the workers. It's dirty. They overcharge massively for subpar food and none of their properties are ever worth more than 400 bucks a night, no matter how they try to brainwash you into thinking otherwise. They even force you to Uber or rent a car from the airport now, and you pay for the privilege of parking it at their hotels or parks. You have to wonder what are you paying for? This!? This ain't it.

My new pastime is binge watching your videos, we leave in 13 days for Disney! Any tricks to a good fireworks seat at Magic Kingdom?

I saw $500 for 3 days and thought "no shot is that possible" until you said per day LOL.

No way you're getting everything you mentioned done at Animal Kingdom and Epcot in one day.

If you think 500 a day (not including tickets and hotel) is some kind of bargain I’m sorry for you.

I have actually done resort only trips (no parks- $109+ additional per day if you include them) for 3 days under $500 (not including merchandise, but including meals, travel and hotel) I’ve done it at the values and the moderates off season. You can do Disney on the cheap if you are able to be flexible

When you break it down to $125 per person per day for a family of 4 on top of tickets and hotel then that price doesn’t sound quite as crazy. Don’t get me wrong, that’s still mighty steep but it’s not totally crazy money.

Disney's budget definitely change from one family to another. Planning ahead is key to prioritize what you and your family want to make the most of, and prepare the budget for it. In our only visit to the parks so far, on January 2022, we purchased $2000 Disney Egift cards prior to our trip, and we got to use them for the 4 of us (wife + 2 daughters) all through our 8 day stay (6 days to the parks, charging our purchases to our reservation account through our MagicBand and clear it's balance with our gift cards during our stay, controlling how much we've spent so far and adjust future spend if necessary) and our 4 days Disney Cruise (even purchasing the photo package at the end), and still kept ~$200 balance for our upcoming trip in January 2024 (thus roughly $300 budget per day in the parks/hotel). Of course we paid separately prior to our trip our value hotel charge and park tickets (just as AJ mentions in this video, excluding those cost from her $500 daily budget), and still managed to pay for Genie+ once in our 1st visit to Magic Kingdom, Character lunch in "Be our Guest" restaurant, get a few souvenirs (such as princess costumes and others) and use GC balance for all our breakfast, lunches and dinner in the parks & hotel. We did that because our first prioritity was to spend most of our time in the parks (making the most of Early Guest entries) trying to get into as many rides as possible, and not so much on high-end hotels (as we mostly only use them to get a shower and sleep), multiple Character dinning and Genie+, Individual lighting lanes (as it was not so crowded back then due to CoVid & January weather) or other perks. For our upcoming January 2024 trip I plan to do pretty much the same, get Egift cards (even get to squezze some additional money depending on how I purchase them) to have a pre-paid budget, and get to enjoy the parks with that budget in mind. If this works for you too, that's great, and if that is not the case, that's fine also, as you should follow what makes you feel better to enjoy the parks.

One of my favorite surprises from our trip was seeing the mosaic inside the castle. I watched a ton of videos and never saw anyone mention it. It was such a cool surprise.
