Not a good product. We bought one (not from AO.com) and after just over 2 years, it started switching itself off as if the power had been cut. The display would go blank and after about 20mins, the clock would start flashing again, and we could restart the clock and then the oven.

We had a 10 year parts guarantee, which is useless, because you cannot get an engineer out for Hoover, Hotpoint and a whole list of other manufacturers these days without going through a 3rd party insurance company (Domestic & General) who want to stitch you up with a maintainance contract - in our case, nearly as much as the oven cost new.

We had a local engineer look at it - there was a safety cut-out that he thought was faulty, but the part is listed as obsolete by Hoover even though it is still a current model. We did eventually manage to get the part from another source but the 1st one arrived faulty, and fitting the 2nd one still hasn't fixed the problem. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the other components of the oven, and the engineer is mystified. So 2 years old and looks like it is heading for scrap.
