I'm a fellow woman in tech and YouTuber, and I was just talking to a software engineer today about how too many people don't get into engineering because they are afraid it's 100% coding. very interesting and relatable Tiff, as a fellow developer. we have a system in which features can be requested, commented on, time estimated, planned, etc. (an ERP system). usually there is still a short conversation with the person that entered the feature request into the system to make sure it's clear. i haven't worked any other way, but i think it cuts down on meetings. of course some meetings are unavoidable, especially when a customer requests developers to be present. time estimation is "challenging" to put it politely. well i don't want to go off on a tangent... good video
