The New Silk Road

China successfully lifted hundreds of millions out of poverty and streamlined its integration into the international community by investing heavily in roads, railways, airports, and energy. Now China is looking into its own history to share its economic model with the rest of the world. Across three episodes, ‘The New Silk Road’ follows China’s Belt and Road Initiative from its start in the markets of Yiwu and the ports of the South China Sea to Africa and Europe.

Other countries shouldn't be jealous of China's economic success . Their people work very very hard, even outside of normal work hours and weekends, while others go to the beach to sunbathe and surf. Everyone has their own kind of happiness in their choice of interests hobbies and priorities.

Would you believe a world super power not building machines of war and destruction but instead building the foundation for world prosperity and improvement. Building infrastructure is key to economic prosperity. China has used its wealth to do just that whether it is roads or high speed railway lines. What US done is use its wealth to destroy infrastructure of smaller nations with vicious bombing instead of taking care of its crumbling infrastructure. US doesn't have a single high speed project going on. China has completed 17, 000 KM of high speed railway.
