I love it.
I’ve been working in advertising for 20 years, and we’re currently living in a time where ads last as long as it takes our fingers to scroll. It’s mind-blowing how many brands are putting out garbage.

This ad is inspiring—first as a parent, and then as a professional.

I just saw your ad for the EX90. I want to tell your ad campaign team that I am so thankful for the decision they made, to lift up the importance of family and life. It was a shockingly beautifully written short film, and I am having a completely emotional reaction to it. As soon as it ended I went straight here to write this and say thank you. I will not forget that Volvo chose to go this route instead of the way Jaguar went with their ad campaign. I am not that political. I am a 40 year old married women without children, who is a speech and language therapist for children. We, I mean your potential customers, recognize that family is the core of our society and the protection of life, vulnerables and women and children is at the core of our humanity. I hope this message goes out to your marketing team. I see what you did there and it was a very, very good choice. Thank you very much for taking time to read this.

I was the passenger in a horrific car crash in a Volvo. Smashed into the back of a parked work truck going over 100mph. The truck was only about a foot from my face. I survived with just a bruised knee. This ad is a testament to the Volvo brand.

Volvo, if you’re reading this; this is hands down the best commercial I’ve ever seen.

It was a skippable ad preceding another video, but I had to see it through.

This is a masterfully executed short-film about love, the beauty and vulnerability of life and the fact that our days on this planet are numbered. It just so happens that your new EX90 model can and will prevent that already limited amount of time to end prematurely. The product placement didn’t feel forced because it served the narrative.

The ability to hook an audience like this within 4 minutes through the actors, the cinematography, sharp edits, the music.. Wow.
