I think we need a full show to know how Marquees organises himself

"Well I change my wallpaper every couple of weeks just to feel something"💀 the comedic edge to that was great

I thought I was addicted at some point, thank you for making me feel not alone in this

Yep. I call it SNTS - Shiny New Thing Syndrome. I used to feel guilty about it, until I came to realize it’s pretty much the same as changing out your wallpaper because you want something fresh. As long as it works for you, no guilt! It’s not the worst bad habit you could have…

1:13 "I change my wallpaper every couple of weeks just to *feel something*" omg the face of the other guy was everything I felt when I heard him saying that.

I get you, Marquess… I use Apple Calendars and Reminders and they lack some features, but it's in generell good enough. I sort my tasks with the Eisenhower matrix (as smart lists), so I use priorities a lot. A total Game Changer for me was setting the double back tap on the iPhone to a Shortcut for "Add Reminder": This way I can enter the task, the date, time, location and priority all in one tap without have to extra open the Reminders app. Absolutely love this feature!
Also, do you know Thomas Frankly? His YT is centred around productivity and I love it; maybe you'll enjoy it, too!

I really want to see more of how a big youtube manages their time. I mean just a glimples on what it takes to operate like this would be dope to learn and try in my own workflow.

The first three minutes where he talks about changing and switching between Calendar and Tasks apps are so relatable. I do this every month maybe her every other month and in-depth coming back to the default ones in each phone.

If your Google Keep notes have a date, it will show up in your calendar. This thing is so underrated. I use it to be reminded of checklists.

On the other hand the lack of dedicated webpage for google tasks really limits my use-case. Their integration in google calendar is fantastic, but it's too limited as a standalone service.

“Hey Siri remind me to throw out the trash tomorrow morning at 10am”
Reminders app works good enough for me! Don’t need a special app for that

Holy cow that trash city calendar is awesome. That's futuristic

My main combo is Fantastical + Todoist.

Fantastical has a Todoist integration to add in Todoist tasks alongside my calendar. I ALSO use the Todoist --> google calendar integration to create appointments out of Todoist tasks as well.

Between those two, this covers my 'what to get done' bases.

I have the same toxic trait of experimenting with different productivity apps. But I have settled with Google Calendar, a physical Bullet Journal (tasks) and still deciding between Evernote or Google Keep for my primary notes app

I wouldn't be able to survive without Google Keep

My calendar rules my life and I think of it as a schedule and not calendar. I use tasks to collect thoughts on things that I need to do as a giant list but I SCHEDULE tasks in the calendar and block time to actually do it. If I don’t do something, it is rescheduled for another day.

Glad to see that others are as particular!

I felt ashamed when the clock app was pulled out. I probably have like over 20 random alarms on my phone rn😂

I relate so much. If it is not on my calendar it ain’t happening.

When Marquees was like "Well I change my wallpaper every couple of weeks just to feel something" I literally screamed that's me.

As someone with Asperger's and ADD who also works from home 100%, I LIVE in my calendar. I'll often get so engrossed in my work that I forget to eat.

Google Calendar, Google Reminders, some Tasks.

I also recently set up Google Assistant Routines to announce the time every hour on my Google Home devices (only M-F 0800-1700).
