I had a bank account years in on 'pay day' to get $100 cash to go buy groceries. Teller says TO ME, sorry, system is down today and we don't have access. A man walked in behind me, says to the teller, 'good morning Doris, I came to get some cash today '. Her response morning Bill, how much would YOU like Moral was....Bank was being sold/bought by a different bank. So, screw me but not Bill. Needless to say, when all was said and done I CLOSED OUT MY ACCOUNT AND WENT ELSEWHERE..

I'm from Western NC. We still have no power, no internet, and cell phone service is very spotty. Our area is devastated. This disaster will be much worse than Katrina when everything is said and done. The rest of the country is not getting info about it because communication lines are down. We have friends and family that have lost everything. Please pray for our area.

Sometimes Protecting your capital is much more important than making money. Basically because if you lose your capital, making money is much harder. ''Missing the train'' vs. ''losing your money''. There are a lot of trains, but if your money is gone, it's over.

Warning: never use your home as collateral! Unless you've changed your spending habits, a second mortgage or HELOC won't solve your financial woes, investment is the best way to solve our present economic inadequacy. Borrowing against your home can lead to losing the roof over your head. Our house is not an ATM.

BOA's credit card billing is working just fine. YOUR money may be gone, but what you owe THEM is front and center.

It's not money, it's a loan. It says so right across the top of every bill. It's a federal reserve NOTE. A note is a loan. It's not money it's currency. Money has intrinsic value. Gold and silver is real money, dollars are just contracts, loans for use.

Something strange is happening across several major banks right now. Let’s be honest: the financial system feels like it's being held together with bubble gum and chicken wire until the election.

Yesterday, a bunch of people were commenting online, how their B of A accounts were suddenly empty. Not a peep from the MSM.

True story going back in time to my earlier days in SoCal when I was in the prototype and production run printed circuit business. A machine programmer and drilling/router supervisor in the plant decided he wanted to organize a skydiving outing for employees to sign up for as a morale /fun event. He went to the President and Vice President owners of the company to get their support/endorsement. Obviously they refused. They told him why (liability). He was upset and pushed it still “off the books” so to speak. They almost fired him over his stubbornness but made it clear he was on his own with it. So, the day came and he and a few others went out to the desert for the training and dive. He hurt his back on a hard landing. Messed up his discs and spine. Not enough that he couldn’t walk etc., but enough to put him into a chronic pain situation that led to his disability. He also was a drummer in a band and it ended his drumming career. So, what does he do? He turns around and tries to sue the company saying it was a company authorized event. He tried to drag the company into his disability claim as well. I think he lost on both counts. But his life was ruined. Constant pain, limited mobility issues, lost his ability to continue in his job/career, and, lost his musician/music side career. All because he wanted to skydive and was too stubborn to listen to what the company’s owners were telling him.

How convenient of Bank of America to do this at the very beginning of the month the first 3 days of the month is when most people pay their bills, something shady. I left Wells Fargo 6 months ago I haven't looked back I'm sick of the BS. I am with a credit union now I'm very happy with them

80+ aged friend in Asheville: silence from him, no services, no FEMA, no National Guard, A BIG NOTHING FROM GOVERNMENT (city, county, state, Federal). You can bet those dolts are getting their paychecks and pension checks. I loathe these rich loafers with a passion.

Bank of America has never been safe. I worked as a certified probate paralegal 20 years ago and we had a deceased man who had about $8, 000 in his checking account and had a credit card account with a balance of about $9, 000. They took the entire balance to pay the CC when they learned he was deceased. Probate laws do not allow anyone to remove funds to pay a bill once deceased. The account should be frozen until the personal representative takes possession of assets and identifies creditors. They have to file a claim just like everyone else. There is a tier process when there are not enough funds to cover all bills. SMH 🤦🏻‍♀️

When u put money into a bank --- it's no longer ur money - it's the banks' money. Isn't that what banks told us a few years ago????
