He just randomly appeared at Ole Red’s in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
The bar is owned by Blake Shelton.

LOL looks like Youtube captions don't speak Appalachian either. Thanks for being so upbeat and wholesome in this world of chaos and troubles.

Glad to see y'all! Been missing our family. I like his music because I know where he's coming from. Nadine hit it right on the nail about thinking you're the crazy one when other people discredit or just dismiss what you're trying to warn them about. It does make you feel helpless and ready to give up. But as long as we're in this world we have to keep pushing forward one day at a time, don't we? There's a song i know that says, "God will make a way when there seems to be no way. He works in ways we cannot see. He will make a way for me. He will be my guide, hold me closely to His side. With strength and love for each new day, He will make a way. He will make a way." God bless you, NZ family. All of you subscribers here as well. ❤

What I love about him is he's real. He sings about being broke and taken down by the rich man then turns down multi-million dollar contracts from them.

I don’t think he wants to leave the world, he just wants the real world back. Real values, real discipline, get rid of the crazy views of the world

His song "ive got to get sober" hits so many right in the heart. Alcoholism is real and he pegs it with that one. so glad to see you safe at home Sam/ Nadine. I love you guys. be safe.

The wealth gap in the U.S. has us working class folks struggling hard core. Living paycheck to paycheck is no joke. Life isn’t meant to be lived like this. Our government has failed us. Both parties have been in control and look where we are. They’ve been compromised by the 1%. Bought and paid for. ✌🏼

What I like about Oliver Anthony, which isn't his name but his grandfather's/kind of, is he speaks for the average person. His lyrics can unite multiple people together, which, is something our country really/desperately needs. You see who we have in office and it is not building back better right now. I would like you to react to DAX "dear alcohol" and/or "to be a man"!

Christopher Anthony Lunsford, who performs under the name of Oliver Anthony, lives close to a very small rural town in the middle of Virginia called Farmville. That's about 2 hours south of where I live in Virginia. It's nice to see someone being so honest about the sad world we live in. I hope he can continue to not let the fame go to his head.

If you go to his youtube channel he gives his whole backstory which is pretty cool. Also his song I need to get sober is really good as well.

Just a little history on the word "Appalachia", it's a Cherokee Indian word. In the Cherokee language there are no long "a" sounds. Therefore, the word is pronounced "Appa-latcha", all short "a" sounds.

My favorites are "Doggone it", and "90 some Chevy". I highly recommend you do a reaction to those 2 songs. They're awesome.

I think he reminds most Americans who really are paying attention to what is going on that we aren't crazy. We do see what we see and we don't understand what others don't see, or get, or understand where it is leading us. Our nation as we knew it will be gone if we don't make the changes necessary to sustain Her. America really is a great place, filled with great people. Most of us, like Oliver's song, are on our knees daily and praying for the Lord to intercede for our nation. Glad you are safely home.

I believe he lives in Southern Virginia just a few hours from where I live in Virginia so it was pretty cool to hear he came from the state where I grew up

That dark hopeless place is where the ego dies. From there a new being can arise. I've been there and I care. ♥

Appalachia is from northern Georgia all the way to Maine...but when people reference Appalachian mountains it's usually West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia...because of the Irish/Scottish influence in the mountains and hollers where they were forgotten for hundreds of years. Not backward, just self-reliant. People today are returning to a holistic lifestyle that some Appalachian people embraced up until today.
