Angled foregrips/handstops are amazing for close quarters/very mobile fighting. I feel like it allows you to treat your rifle as an extention of your body, rather something youre holding.

I personally prefer the BCM one but I have mine flipped around so it angles forward. I also sanded the bottom off of it to make it shorter. My thumb points forward and rests on my WML I don’t wrap my thumb around it. the BCM one also works better as a barricade stop in my opinion.

Great example. I prefer the vertical grip because you can apply heavier downforce while using a bipod. The angled grip is definitely better for an sbr but I prefer a C-clamp for my 16" rifle and a high grip on my vertical grip is most ergonomic when my arm is tired

Bcm grip is GOAT. Especially backwards for me, tried magpul afg multiple times and no matter where I placed it, it always felt awkward

I’ve been using this knockoff magpul angled grip that I got off Amazon a few years back for about $10 and it still holds up pretty well

You can do the same thing with the bcm. The bcm wasn't designed to grip it like a pistol grip but as a hand stop with your thumb on top of your handguard

I use a vertical and tuck my fingers up into the corner and wrap my thumb around the top of the rifle. This way if something happened like say my hand got injured, I could hold the vertical grip with my wrist. Or I could use it like a barricade stop. I just think it's more versatile

Im with you on the AFG 2 excellent product and the afg 1 is cool too if you like that better, plus you can remove the finger groove on this grip if you want to make the part your hand grabs tottally smooth without the finger bump.

It depends on the user but a grip or vertical grip don’t necessarily give you better maneuverability depending on how you grip it.

Perfect, just make sure thatyour grip is not opened too wide with that grip because you don't want to quickly fatigue your hand.
