Fresh 1/2 c catnip, 3 tbl lemon juice, 3 tbl apple cidar vinegar, 2 cups water.
Bring to boil a few minutes, then simmer about 20 min. Place in refrigerator over night.
Next day, strain liquid then pour into a spray bottle.

Fresh catnip grow in many areas...people might mistake it for fresh mint because the leaves, stalk, and smell is a lot like fresh mint.

We have a huge problem with ticks here on our farm in Egypt. We have brown dog ticks and tiny oval black ones. Four dogs (one puppy). Ivermectin has become prohibitively expensive. We just cannot afford it.

I also add one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to my dog's water bowl everyday as the smell of apple cider makes their skin smell that ticks don't like at all and they avoid it and won't attach to the dog.

I found a 2yr old blind dog since a baby due to guardians not caring. He had Erlichicia. He lived a fun happy life for 4 yrs before brain tumour took him from us.😢

My little two year old maltipoo was bit by a tick hear it in northwest New Jersey got limes disease and immediately had trouble walking. Stop jumping up on the couch to sit on my lap couldn’t go up the steps. I had to carry her up the steps. This happened right away within a week or a few days later. after antibiotics twice injected, she seem to be herself again after two months thankfully. her Veterinarian is not Holistic but I like him a lot said that I had to use the tick repellent that you squeeze onto the back of the dogs neck a chemical. He kind of shook his head when I mentioned the Cedarwood spray. I decided to get the eight month collar all natural and the Cedarwood spray to try to prevent her getting bit again I just hope it works because I don’t want to use the chemical since a friend of mine many years ago her daughter put it on the back of her cats neck, but accidentally squirted in her eye. She died of a brain tumor behind that same eye two years later.
