Ban change of bikes when the stage reaches a climb section

Keep powermeters, but ditch radios, I wanna see the opportunists making more breakaways out of hope and shear grit. If riders want know what's going on up at the front they gotta be up at the front or at least communicating better with their team from within the peleton.

I wouldn't change anything for the riders, I would just force the UCI to fix the dangerous barriers and dangerous courses, like how they are going full speed through a roundabout near the finish (where there was a crash recently). There is nothing wrong with the aero tuck or forearms on the handlebar, and nothing wrong with anything else the riders were doing last year. Pretty much every crash we saw were either riders touching or the course being too dangerous.
One thing that could be added is a budget limit per bike, say $15, 000 or something. This way we don't get TT bikes with ridiculously expensive aerobars that cost more than the frame itself. The UCI tried to stop teams from using one off parts by saying they have to produce the part for the public to buy but the manufacturer just puts the price super high so that no-one will realistically buy them.

I would ban brakes because riders should be skilled enough to ride without them it would also be more aero. Also ban helmets because again riders should be skilled enough to not fall off the bike and more aero.

I wish the UCI would ban disk brakes and wide tires! 🚴

Dear Wayno, I enjoy every single video of you. Since I am often times listening to you, I wanted to ask you if you could tone down a notch of your intro and your bell sound in the end? Thank you and have a great weekend!

I like the UCI the lower the minimum bike weight limit to 6.5 kg.Lets see the disc brake bikes than .

Great content! 👍 I'd like to see banned the lower limit of weight for bikes (6, 8Kg) because nowadays I think it doesn't make sense unless it is to facilitate the life of frame brands. The cars on the train should be obligated to help every cyclist (the nearest car to the cyclist)

Team manager cars, radios and power meters. All bike support and medical support should be performed stationary.

I would ban all support and all support cars.

Each rider would have to carry their own tools and wouldn't get any support from team cars.

Why would this improve Cycling?

Because then manufacturers would have to make bikes and tools that would be more realistic, reasonable and reliable. It would make the bikes better for the general public and it would generate a whole line of great new tools for the public. You would see the end of tub tyres in favour of things the public would use. You would probably also see the Disc brake bike go out of fashion because rim are so much more reliable and easy to fix yourself.

The second thing I would ban is the mopeds and motorcycle cameras and marshals. They cause so many accidents and the way they drive around the cyclists is inconsiderate. I would only allow drones and helicopters to film the race, the only people allowed on motorcycles would be police to clear the road or arrest people being stupid.

I just finished watching your video and it looks like we had similar ideas.

As they already ban recumbents, lets ban the saddle amd seatpoat, so it really becomes an endurance sport

First thing i would ban is the UCI. They are out of touch with their tech arguments (ie weight limit), create unecessary rules, and were nowhere to be found during the doping era.

Tossing empty bidons away. I understand riders already face fines for that, but I keep seeing it all the time. Not only is it dangerous for riders, see Geraint Thomas in the Giro, but it's also an environmental disgrace.
While on the topic of bidons, holding on to a bidon for an eternity before letting go when the car hands one to the rider to take advantage of the car speed, particularly when climbing. I've always thought it's ridiculous. If drafting is not allowed, why is this?

This guy I used to ride with for club rides would do the aero tuck on recents. Aside from the safety issue, I could very easily go faster than him by pedaling down the descent. It really irked me. But on the professional level, I don’t know. The pros influence the club riders so that’s a safety increase but the pros are pros for a reason and it diminishes their toolkit to go faster

1. Ban the sock length issue. Can wear long legged pants but socks can only go half way?
2. No bike swaps on time trials

The classment of the big tours of 3 weeks should change and become a sort of relay: only 6 or 7 riders per team at the start of each stage to have a smaller peloton, but with other 6-7 "reserves" changeable according to the type of stage (classified before). So the climbers only in the mountain stages and the sprinters only in the plain stages. Peloton of max 150-170 riders or even less. Overall classment to the team, not the single rider, with the sum of times (and/or points awarded) of the first of mountain stages and the first of plain stages in each team. Partial classments of mountain and plain to the single riders, obviosuly only the ones which have completed all the stages of the same type.
Riders less tired, less risk of falls in the peloton, higher performances and more show.

Ditch the weight rule, if I can buy a light bike in a store then the pros should be able to ride the same bike.

The stupid 6.8kg weight limit carbon bikes can be made much much lighter these days. Would also see a return of rim brakes 😏
