As a Christian non-Mormon, welcome to the wonderful world of wine. Wine and bread are our two literal favorite things and it blows my mind that Mormons are like “WE ARE CHRISTIANS TOO…but no wine…” …like was Jesus being bad when he had all that wine? The idea to get some to NOT do something is never to tell them "you should never do this!". the idea is to explain to them how alcohol has destroyed so many lives and families therefor this is why we don't drink alcohol.

This woman has no idea how privileged of a child hood she had to not have an alcoholic, or violent drug addict parents that effects so many people to be able function in society today.

I didn't drink alcohol just cuz I was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints. I chose not to drink alcohol I saw my stepfather died of alcohol poisoning he was an alcoholic that's why I didn't drink. Not because the church said not to. I do not do everything that the church tells me I guess you would call me a Jack Mormon.
