Based on the video that I have learn today is the enterprise system has called as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This system is suite of integrated software modules and a common central database. Normally, this big system is collecting data from many division of firm for use in nearly all of firms' internal business activities. Enterprise system have two type which are decentralized system and centralized system. Decentralized system means the data is maintained locally at the individual department in a company with Decentralized System of Data Management. While Centralized system means the data is maintained at the center location and is shared with various department.

Based on the video above, what I’ve learned from this chapter is enterprise system which is called ERP. It is a consolidated system that emerge all the operation of a key department in the organization such as finance and production. Also, I have learned the second software type is supply chain management system with the example of Nike production factory. Last but not least, the customer relationship management system is essential in business such as sales, marketing and service. Thanks dr for sharing the video clip of how ERP system function, elaborating supply chain management system by one of the worldwide player which is called DHL and Toyota use Microsoft dynamic as the software to keep customers happy.

While SCM focuses more on the procurement of purchasing material that needed by company, transforming them into products and distributing the products. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) examine customers from a multifaceted perspective. These system use a set of integrated application to address all aspects of the customer relationship, including customer service, sales and marketing.
