From the video today, I have learned that the ER system or enterprise system is a system that collect data from many department in a company and use it for company's internal business activities. Thank you dr, for sharing this video. From this video, I have learned about what is Enterprise Resource Planning ( ERP ) system is. I also learned about how the ERP system function, and the business value of the Enterprise Systems. Besides that, I also know about what is supply chain management. Supply chain management is focusing on the upstream supply chain. Furthermore, I also learned about Supply Chain Management System software, global supply chain issues, and the business value of SCM Systems. Next, I also learned about Customer Relationship Management. I learned about three types of CRM software such as operational CRM, analytical CRM, and Collaborative CRM. What I understand in this chapter, Enterprise systems consist of interconnected software modules and a common database enable data sharing across corporate processes and functional domains. Large networks of supply chain partners can immediately change inventory, orders, and capacity. Many CRM systems look at clients from many angles. These systems include customer service, sales, and marketing applications. Client data is integrated from various sources to help sales, service, and marketing activities. So it's both operational and analytic CRM support.
