I just learned that binoculars dont jsut focus at a specific distance and there is a lot that your own eyes can do by themselves. For instance I focused some trees at 150 meters, and after some practice I can clearly focus on everything from 15 to 150 without even touching the focus wheel.
Of course the closer your eyes have to look the trickiest it becomes, cause focusing "backwards" can make you feel a little dizzy.
But you stop depending so much on the focus wheel once your eyes get used to it.
