Imagine living with Arthur, anytime something happens, you can just see him bolting over to you.

Hosea’s death meant the end of Van Der Linde gang. He was the one cared about people and he was the only one could protect Dutch from Micah.

I had no regrets partying while Micah rotted in jail for a bit.

Hosea was about to say that Jenny Mac and Davey were good people, but that wasn’t true and he knew it. So instead he clarifies that “They mattered to me”. Heart breaking to see how much Hosea cared for lost life compared to others like Micah or even Dutch.

Y’all ever notice how Micah isn’t really a good fist fighter? When he got slung by Charles, punched by Javier, and when John got in his face he always backs away or tucks his tail

You could it hear how anxious Micah got when Hosea questioned him about the Blackwater incident. Sure, bank robbing is an occupational hazard, but when you make a bad call that seemed questionable, it'll make others suspicious of you. Hosea was right to question him about it, since Micah did say that nothing could go wrong.

Jenny....Mac....Davey, they mattered to me. This proves Hosea is really a FATHER TO EVERYONE.

Smart and wise but blunt. Hosea was an OG.

Love how obvious it is that Micah was deeply intimidated by Hosea, weaseling out of any interaction with him as quick as he could bc he knew Hosea saw through him

Holy damn, if this is not the perfect moment.

"What are you looking at"
"I aint quite sure"
Starts laughing like a really bad guy, while there is thunder and lightning in the back.

Probably without any intention you got the perfect "Start-Up-Moment for Micah"

"What're you looking at?" "I ain't quite sure"
Arthur's comebacks were always neutral yet fire af at the same time lmao

Micah's just. Such a good villain. I've seen many people call him just evil, but it isn't just about that. Kinda like Arthur who was one the only ones to see things clearly (outside of Hosea and John), but he only did so because of his illness. It both sounds stereotypical but also makes complete sense. Micah grew up with the eat or be eaten mentality shoved down his throat. He wanted power, so... Those that were on his way had to go, and ofc Hosea was one of them. Arthur was another. John was the third. Dutch's little family: his partner in crime and his "sons". If Micah got Dutch to loose them or better, loose (ironically) faith in them, he'd be ripe for the taking. Micah would be calling the shots without being the head of the gang and thus not the main target.

But what really pisses me and everyone off is his systematic tearing down of the family system Dutch had set up for them. I wonder if it's got to do with his backstory, with how values such as the ones the Van der Linde gang holds as important are stupid and weak to him because his own family sucked. So really, his particular hatred for Hosea, John and Arthur makes sense. Hosea is in the spot he wants. John has a family- an embodiment of what he scorns. And Arthur sees through him clear as day, and is his number one rival.

Really, out of the new characters, Arthur and Micah are so good exactly because of that to me. You could think of them as one-note or that their characters are rather simple (bad guy, finds out he's gonna die, turns good guy // evil villain), but there's a surprising depth to them. Kudos to Rockstar for making them so special.

I love Hosea, he's the heart of the gang, he cared more than anyone, tried helped Jack learn how to read, comforted Abigail and Lenny.
All Micah did was be a mysogninic, racist a bully.

I reckon Arthur and Hosea had one of the closest relationships in the game, a real father and son like relationship and though he had the same with Dutch I just feel like he loved working with Hosea more than anyone else in the camp. Another thing I like about Hosea is not only is he the most intelligent member of the gang but he’s also pretty brave when it comes to people threatening him or trying to intimidate him and also I like to imagine I’m his younger days he was this sophisticated gunslinger whose surprisingly deadly with a pistol. Hosea is definitely one of my favourite characters, probably top 3.

"I'm real sorry...but dying...that's part of the game" ....shit Micah, you're right.

0:33 Oh my god, that thunder rolling as Micah laughs. Even the heavens themselves know he's the devil.

Micah has always been picking on sick members of the group. First Hosea, then Arthur. When Arthur was still okay, Micah would never pick a fight as he always did after Arthur developed TB. He also called him "brother". Micah and his way of thinking made him realize Arthur was now a burden and also way easier to annoy and fight since he was weaker.
Never dared to fight Arthur cause he knew he didn't stand a chance when he was fine.
