Oh Ben, I’m so pleased that your channel showed up on my feed! I’ve just gotten started through your videos. Thank you for sharing your story. I absolutely loved the “windows” scene and reference. I imagine most of us have done this with our cars or boats, or perhaps our vintage camp trailers. 😉

Enjoyed this. I got stuck in that tunnel for 40 minutes, it was also the first time i had moved Firbob . You was very lucky to get that mooring spot. keep the videos coming.

I want to travel once I retire and spend a year on a smally narrowboat like yours, so I am watching very closely everything you do and don't do on your little boat. The glaring issue with your first two projects is the same issue; you are not removing items that have an exposed surface behind them, on the wood doors you didn't remove the vents and hardware to seal behind the metal and on the hull, you didn't remove the anodes to black the surface behind them. Am I missing some information and thus all is well or would you explain your thinking on these matters?

Ben, when Bramble is in dry dock for blacking, how do they black the parts where she's resting on the beams? Do they have to refloat, move her along a bit and drain out again to get to those bits?
