You know what? This is THE FIRST video I have ever seen that thoroughly explains how to prune raspberries instead of tidbits here and there. Good Job Laura and Thank You!

Yay!! Thank you for this video. Raspberries are one of my absolute favorite berries. I cannot wait to trim my raspberries back and hopefully get them under control. I keep digging them up and passes them out to family & friends. I started with one plant over 15 years ago and now I have too many to count! Last year I froze over 10 quarts, ate countless handfuls and baked raspberry everything! Thank you so much for this well needed video!

This was perfect for this newbie. Our neighbors gave us half dozen raspberry plants last summer and I know nothing about it. Thank you. Love watching you with my morning tea ❤️

Ooh, I love that you're running a test to see which method you prefer. I'm going to be doing something similar with my salvia this year. Can't wait to see the results.

Good evening from Australia 🇦🇺
I just noticed your wearing your gloves while pruning, question are raspberries a thorny plant?
So much info, you seem to be a walking encyclopaedia when it comes to all the different types of plants regardless whether it’s flowers, fruit, berries, herbs or vegetables. The information is so invaluable to your GA family. Thank you so much for all the videos and sharing all your knowledge. I just love it.

Knowing varieties is key to pruning these. Like hydrangeas. But they are reminding me of rose bushes. 💚💚💚

The chopping to the ground method tends to encourage spreading so keep that in mind

I do not know what it is about your videos but after watching them I feel like I have the knowledge to go out and concor any task I need to do in the garden. Thanks to you I had the confidence to start my very own cut flower farm business. Thank you very much for all the wonderful videos that have given me the courage to garden like I have always dreamed. ❤️

I grew raspberries years ago, mine were starts from my sister in law's patch. I did not know at that time that pruning was needed to produce healthy plants. To say the least my patch did not survive. Wish I knew then what I just learned this morning! Maybe I will give it another try now that I am more educated! 😊✂️🌿❤

Had no idea growing raspberries takes so much knowledge! If you start from scratch at least you know what kind you have. My raspberry IQ is elevated now.

I will say it again I love the look of those raised beds. They give an elegant look to the area. I am trying to figure out how I can create one for my small city outdoor space in the back yard.
