Grace is highly educated. She'd know so much about colonization, capitalism, and what Earth is like at that time. Eywa knows what Grace knows, so know Eywa what these kinds of humans and this kind of greed does to the balance of life.

It's so fast, but it explains WHY Eywa intervenes on the side of the Na'vi

Back when Avatar first came out in 2009, I wasn't able to watch it in theaters but as soon as it came out on DVD my grandma got it for me. First thing I thought was, the graphics/visuals and special effects transcended what we could experience in a movie. Avatar really is ahead of its time, back in 09 and to this day still is. I mean being able to make tall blue people coexist with humans and not make it look too fake or cringe. It's still my favorite movie of all time. I just remember being so encaptured in it all, like I was there, the storyline, the emotions, the true reality of the story based on true events we've dealt with as human beings. Still haven't seen the new one yet but 12 years later after the first one, there's movies with millions of dollars for the budgets over the years that don't still don't even come close to this masterpiece. Just remarkable.

Just look at that shot in 08:07 !!! Neytiri looks fucking real, the CGI quality is still unmatched, even Thanos does not look better ! Cameron fucked the limits of what was possible at that time

You know, Avatar is like history repeating itself. In America, there was the Native Americans. Then the settlers came along and sort of had a truce, then wanted to take the land and find gold.Same in this movie: The Na'vi are the natives, and the humans are the settlers and want to take everything that the planet has without giving back.
