With 64k views, this is obviously a common problem. My 2 year old Acer, which hadn't been touched by anything more than a duster in the last couple of months, suddenly developed a yellow line during my first play of Cyberpunk. Quality control seems to have taken a hit in the rush to get cheaper and cheaper monitors onto the market

There is ESD to be concerned about. You will absolutely not be shocked by an unplugged electronic. Electrostatic discharge can ruin the green panel if you touch it without grounding yourself. The video does not state this but please be careful not to touch the green panels without eliminating ESD as an option, because if you shock it, you won't even know it happened until you try to turn it on, and it doesn't, because it has fried.

So EZ, just push that board down OR push in towards the side of the monitor (away from center), usually on the bottom of the screen!

In my case i had to put paper under the ribon cables, but it worked like a charm!

There was fungus build up in my Zebronics monitor, which I cleaned up. Now this Thick almost 1 inch white vertical line appears. My monitor has similar PCB board, with almost 5 golden thin connectors like you said, should i try the same.

i tried many methods of applying pressure and still doesnt dissapear. however i do see the "glue" used to stick to the board are farther than the cables. maybe they used too much passed the cable?
