It restores a little bit of my humanity that a show about a person being genuinely kind has done so well. I just hope the genre isn't fantasy.

It may sound ridiculous to someone who hasn't seen it, but this show made me cry more often than any drama ever has.

This show was like a modern day Mr. Rogers vibe, absolutely wonderful show.

If you really listen carefully to what he says, it's actually quite profound because if we all took a really good look ourselves, we'd realise that none of us could truly stand in any position to judge another.

I think part of the reason the show was successful, is that we all wish we could be Ted Lasso. Before this show, we all wanted to be heros or princesses. Kings or Queens. Then this show comes along, and we all aspired to be Ted. Not knowing it was the hardest character in all of fiction to emulate. Because todays world is so cruel, that Ted Lasso seems inhuman. To not be bothered by what happens around you and show kindness in every situation does not seem human. We do our best, but i dont think being Ted in this world is ever a possibility.

nobody is better than anybody else, we’re all judged for our mistakes and we all deserve a second chance to prove ourselves

Imagine a video that’s just a compilation of your lowlights in life. All your failures. All your shame. All your regrets. Then you have to walk around with a screen on your chest just playing that compilation 24/7 on a loop for every single person you interact with.

I’m not used to this guy playing sincere roles. I think I’m gonna watch it.

I didn't believe people deserved second chances until I needed it

That’s why I tell my boys and my brothers “if you ever feel offended by something I want you to learn, just know I wouldn’t ask of you something that I didn’t ask of myself at some point” We’re never in a position to judge someone. We can only help them to judge themselves.

God this show is amazing. To me it had nothing to do with football, but about loving yourself and knowing your worth

Man the reveal of why this hit Beard so hard made me bawl like a baby. I need to rewatch this masterpiece.

In a small community with people that actually care about you, yes. In most cases, people don't even bother learning to get to know you. They hear one negative rumor about you and are able to dismiss you for years. And they think they are doing you a favor once they tell you after years of neglect, that they were wrong about you.

I’m on my second chance and I always battle hard to make sure I don’t lose sight of my life and dreams
