Wild Pear Turnovers

Peal, half and core about 5 to 6 wild pears.
Slice into preferred size.
Add 3 tbsp of unsalted butter to a frying pan.
Soften the pears on medium heat.
Mix 1 tsp of cinnamon to 1/4 cup of sugar.
Stir in the cinnamon and sugar mix to the softened pears.
Make the dough.
Butter the edge of a small 6 inch mixing bowl.
Cut out circles in the dough.
Place about 2 to 3 tbsp of filling to the center of the dough.
Jams, Jellies, and other fillings can be added as well.
Fold the top layer over about 1/2 inch short of the bottom layer.
Crimp the edges together.
Press the edges with a fork.
Poke vent holes with a knife.
Bake at 425 Fahrenheit for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
