She is shining a light on black women shoplifting rather that walmarts racism

Shoplifting is a serious problem in retail stores.  The stores know which products are more vulnerable than others and have the right to protect them. It's not a "racist" crime to  limit shoplifting.

So let me get this straight lady ...you think Walmart does not know which products are stolen more than others? NP

Wal Mart should respond to this lawsuit by no longer selling these highly stolen items. Stick that in their craw.

Is this lady mad because she can't shoplift her favorite products?

Suing Walmart for discrimination? They literally hired anyone despite your race, ethnicity, religion, disability ect. They sell products from different regions. No those products were locked away because people would steal them. Obviously it got to a certain point that they were being steal at a high rate and had to lock them down. I went to Walmart to go get some earphones, really cheap $18 they were lock and the woman unlock it, took it to the register. Never did I ever feel humiliated, It would be humiliating getting arrested in Walmart for stealing.

Yeah it's not racial discrimination because Wal-Mart does it everywhere, I'm white and I just had to deal with this, it's the what happens when people steal a bunch of a particular item

Companies have two options when dealing with valuable merchandise that's frequently stolen:
A. Put it under lock and key.
B. Stop selling it.
If the courts rule against option A, the stores will exercise option B. Who gets hurt by that? Law-abiding people.

Last time I bought a graphing calculator at walmart I had to find an employee to unlock it from the display... walmart must be racist against math geeks!

I love how because it's "black" products under lock and key, it's instantly seen as discriminating against blacks. Does this woman know that it's black people stealing these products? No one said it wasn't Asian women stealing these products for the black women at their salons. Just sayin'. This woman really jumped the gun here.

She's reading her statement like a robot. Yea that shows how genuine she is. This woman is just looking for some easy cash.

Why even bother giving air time to stupid lawsuits

I was at a CVS and they had perfume, pregnancy tests, and condoms under lock snd key. Is that racist?? No of course not. I think its sad that these items were stolen so many times, that glass cases had to be put in place .

Best way to solve this..Wal-Mart shouldn't carry these products..they should be only available in stores in the African American communities

It is not only a product for africans, it us also for asian people and hispanic people with a darker complex.

They should unlock all of it and tell her she has to pay for any stolen merchandise, Im sure she wouldn't want to do that but she expects wal-mart to. WEIRD. Here is your bill this month, $954.22, would you like to pay for that in cash check? they lock up cigarettes jewelry cologne, I wonder why?

You could either blame your people or blame the supermarket. But blaming your people won't make you rich and famous.

maybe just MAYBE they're behind a glass door because they're stolen often? should I cry discrimination because they do the same thing with video games? should I cry discrimination against gamers and sue my local games store because they dont put the game disc in the box?
