My little brother passed from end stage liver and kidney disease. Always told me he could quit anytime. I hear every word you say and fully support your every effort. Stay strong.

Essentially reminding yourself of the logic that while you might suffer a failing or shortcoming, it does not define you as a failure

We are each more than any individual action that we might commit

I always said, for my addiction, it is not one drink, it is one more. No matter how many, you can still have, "one more".
God bless you, Jackson Crawford.

I'm two weeks in to quitting drinking. Knowing Jackson has had the same issue actually helps.

I needed this today. ❤ Not that I was going to do something bad. But to hear from someone I highly respect, that I am not alone on this road. Thank you 🙏🏻

Thank you for sharing, Jackson. It's important to hear about other's experiences and learn from one another. I have never struggled with alcohol, but my partner has. We met around the time he became sober, and now at two years in to his sobriety, I have never said I will leave him if he has a drink, because I know the fear, anxiety and guilt he would have of losing me could actually trigger him to turn a single drink into a dangerous binge episode. Instead I focus on his success and support his commitment to health, while still setting clear boundaries for my own needs. Congratulations to your 8 years and going.

I really can't explain the gratefulness I have in watching you talk about this. To know that being an alcoholic doesn't mean a sentence to a wasted life is very encouraging to cleaning up. Thank you for sharing.

I had no idea about this part of your journey. I salute, applaud, and am rooting you on for your continued success. I have had my own struggles. I have enjoyed your videos, and the education they provide so much! Please keep on truckin’ with everything you give out into multiple communities! You are seen, heard, and appreciated.

They used to tell me it’s the train that gets you, not the caboose. Avoid the first drink (or drug)… Congrats to all those that manage to stay sober (& clean)✌🏼

1 year and 7 months sober for me now. It was actually your original video on the subject that brought me out of it. Thanks man!
