ESP E-II Horizon NT-II & ESP E-II Eclipse DB

The ESP E-II Eclipse DB is inarguably one of the coolest-looking guitars in the entire ESP offering. It starts with a great combination of Vintage Black finish and age-yellowed multi-binding with gold hardware. But the E-II Eclipse DB is more than a killer-looking instrument; it's also one of our finest-playing guitars. Powered by a set of EMG 60 (neck) and EMG 81 (bridge) pickups, it's ready for everything from deep and contemplative sounds to the most screaming, aggressive tones imaginable. A set-neck design, it's easy to get quickly up to the highest frets. It features a mahogany body with maple cap, a one=piece mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard with 22 extra-jumbo frets. The E-II Eclipse DB includes high-end components like Schaller Straplocks, Gotoh locking tuners, and a Gotoh TOM bridge and tailpiece. Like all instruments in our E-II Series, the Eclipse DB is made in Japan at ESP’s Tokyo factory. Includes hardshell case.

You guys have it backwards. You should have played lead on the Horizon. It's more suited for lead than the Eclipse is. It's got 24 frets and a neck-thru compared to the 22 fret set neck of the Eclipse. This particular eclipse has a HUGE heel on it, so shredding on the higher frets on that thing is a pain in the ass. That Horizons heel is perfect. No problem getting to the 24th whatsoever. Either way, badass playing and two badass Japanese built guitars.

I am the guy that bought the trans black Horizon in this video! It is my best electric. The factory fret work is amazing! When ESP says jumbo frets you get JUMBO frets not medium jumbos like so many others out there.

Somone below said that an LTD Deluxe was the same as an E-II. WRONG. Try them side my side - I even think there is a vid on YT doing just that. The E-II are the smack on same guitar as the ESP used to be. ESP are now 4k and up, mostly custom shop stuff.

Can someone explain why did ESP change the regular ESP to E-II, I don't get it. If you're paying the full price it should say ESP on the headstock.
