ESP E-II - Horizon NT-II

Today, Ed is walking us through the @espguitarsusa E-II - Horizon NT-II. This guitar has an incredible top and sustains for DAYS! It has neck-thru-body construction as well as a Gotoh TOM bridge with string-thru-body design. Built-in Japan and available with a stunning Tiger Eye Amber Fade finish over its figured quilted maple top, the E-II Horizon NT-II offers a 3-piece maple neck and a mahogany body, an ebony fingerboard, and 24 extra-jumbo frets.

I have the black burst version of this guitar. Despite the sticky painted neck the guitar as a whole for the price is near un beatable. The 57/66 EMG's can do near anything. The cleans are just as good as the overdrive. The ebony fretboard on my copy is so highly polished I can see my reflection in it. My copy has the BEST non custom shop factory fretwork I have ever seen on anything. I quickly forget about the sticky painted neck as the perfection of the frets and ebony board make for an as smooth as glass experience.

Love the look of the guitar and I'm sure the craftsmanship is top notch, but both the neck and bridge sound very similar. I wonder if it's because of the active pickups?

Hi, but you did not show the coil tap /split, push pull knob..with the EMG 66-57.TW ... mine is the EII Japan model..
I have this exact model. colour ...it is amazing and will literally do absolutely anything from blues to jazz to full Metal.. only part I have changed is the bridge to a Resomax-N2 string saver (in black nickel ) ..very happy camper..
