In the deleted original Quantum Leap ending back in 1993 it was revealed that Al and Beth had four daughters but this continution series we've only seen one daughter Janice. They did once again connect this to the original series with Ben wanting to call his mom when he realizes she's still alive in 1989. Just like Sam wanting to call his Dad knowing he was still alive in the year he leaped into. The only difference once Ben called his mom and she answered he leaped? Say what!? At least when Sam called his dad they actually spoke for a few moments. Which was touching! Maybe due to time constraints Ben leaps straight away and of course we are set up for next weeks episode which again looks like a Halloween episode from the original series. Exorcist style? Also this series takes place in our current present time which means Sam Beckett has been leaping for 33 years! And the original shows timeline Sam has been leaping for 27 years! I'm thinking was this done intentionally? ⏰⌚🤔🤷
