Just putting it out here - in hindsight, one could technically create an entire squad of robots to go rescue a kidnapped settler - all it would take is a single sentry bot to provide intense cover fire, two assaultrons to provide battlefield protection and two Mr. Handys to assist with immediate medical care and/or release from binds.

The same can be said for any other predicament - raider/super mutant gang bullying you for caps & stuff? A single sentry bot and 2 assaultrons can wipe out the entire gang. Hive full of bloodbugs? Send a few protectrons and you're golden.

I skipped over Sanctuary, skipped over the town I meet Preston and the rest in, I bought the house in Diamond City to stash my shit in and not worry ‘bout attacks. I am not doing settlements this round, and I’m having more fun on this play through than I ever had before.

Every Fallout 4 player, seemingly: oh for God's sake, why do I have to singlehandedly save every fucking settlement?!?!? I'm the GENERAL!!!! *flounces off to save settlement single-handedly*

Me: Right. Preston, i want you to take this minigun and lead the assault, because you're invincible and it's funny watching you get ragdolled over and over again. Meanwhile, I'll call in a squad of minute men using my flare gun and also provide sniper and rocket cover as needed, but before i do that... Artillery barrage goes BOOOOM!!! 😂
