Ali took charge of the team at London and Rio. She's a natural born leader, and in this day of the overused word role model, she is a true role model for young women around the world.

Hands down one of the most reliable & consistent gymnasts in history. She oftentimes challenged herself. She was a Captain because she's steady, calm, level headed, & a cheerleader to her teammates.

I've said this many times, Aly is a champion both on and off the gymnastics floor! I have so much respect for what she's done in her athletic career. However, I have even more admiration and respect for her after all the advocacy work she's done post Rio! What a champ! ❤️

Talk about a level of professionalism for these ladies. Especially what Nasser did to her. To win the Gold I am so proud of you Aly and all of the survivors no one deserves to be treated like that ever.

Am i the only person here who dont know sports, anything about sports, but enjoyed olympic more than anything and waited for it every 4 years?

There's a mistake: they mixed up the order of her receiving her floor and beam medals in London, making it look like she received a bronze for floor and a gold for beam, when it was actually the other way around.

It hits differently knowing the abuse they went through while triumphing. It all brought tears to my eyes when I saw it then just how incredible it was and we didn’t know about the abuse yet, but makes me cry now.💗

you can just tell from that team event how good of a teammate Jordyn Wieber was!! You can hear her voice all throughout Aly's beam routine. I'd love to be in the same team as Jordyn Wieber

The amount of strength she has and was able to push through knowing what everyone didn’t know then being abused and still had the strength to perform is phenomenal she is definitely a fighter

When she starts crying at the end of her Individual Floor routine at Rio---my heart sobs every single time.

I can't watch the 2012 USA team without thinking about what Nassar was putting them through, my heart breaks for them.

She was so much better in 2016 than 2012. I will miss her in Tokyo this year.

I actually like her 2016 floor routine much more than her 2012 one. The music is just much better and she seems to be better expressing herself in Rio.

Considering Aliya Mustafina also competed in London and Rio and got 7 medals, one more than Alexandra, I think she really deserves a video too... Please, Olympic!!! :)

I really do love that Aly holds her Jewish Heritage on her sleeve and utilises tradionially Jewish music in her floor routines :)
