My experience with Protoss is that an even number of gates feels better when you want to make a bunch of Archons without random odd Templar out

You can only build an even number of gateways as Protoss and a Fibonacci number of barracks as Terran. The science has yet to discover the corresponding limitation for Zerg, but it's likely related to the number of queens.

Lowko has the right gut feeling about the numbers, but no clue why. The right increments for gate ways is either in steps of two or five. 25 is is such a nice number because it is 5x5 and half of 50, which makes it so satisfying. 7 is a trap it does not feel completely wrong because it is 5+2, but it is still not an increment of either and there fore can not be accepted.

I love PvP, it's one of the most fun matchups ever. What type of cheese will the protoss bring out? Who knows but there's TWO of them surely there will be some hilarious trickery going on somewhere somehow.
