Listen I get it, not every athlete is going to have perfect penmanship. Plus, I’m sure getting bombarded everyday for their John Hancock doesn’t help. But at least put in some sort of effort, there’s really no excuse. But it’s not until I recently came across Bol Bol’s childish, non-cursive autographed card that had me thinking, what are some of the worst, laziest and most ridiculous autographs out there?

Arnold Palmer would tell other pro’s to have some pride and make their signature legible, it only takes a few seconds more. The indecipherable lazy scribble commonly used by today’s athletes should be embarrassing to themselves. Long after they are dead and gone an iconic legible signature will be part of their legacy.

Earl Watson went from readable in college to so shortened and hardly readable in the NBA.
I love Shawn Marion but his autograph, I saw him many times but didn't want to ask.Baseball seems to have a ton where they shortened it so much to get in as many as possible for stadium crowds!
