The Lakeshore Story: A Simple Beginning

Our story begins with Ethelyn Kaplan—homemaker and entrepreneur. In 1954, this courageous mom took a chance and opened a supply store for parents and teachers. Fast forward to today, and Lakeshore is still a family-owned business and education industry leader with catalogs, a comprehensive website, and dozens of stores coast-to-coast!

It's been 60 years since Lakeshore Learning Store was opened, and school supply stores are still going strong! To all of the Lakeshore staff and crew, you should print out a Lakeshore Learning 60th Anniversary Edition Catalog for this year [2014] as an absolute proof that you all did a job well done creating thousands of high-quality educational products for kids of all ages throughout the 6 decades! That would be a super cool idea to make a special catalog like that for everyone to enjoy! I hope you print out more Lakeshore Learning catalogs as well as creating more educational products in the future for more generations to come!

I suggest you should print out Lakeshore Learning 60th Anniversary Catalog,  or better yet, if possible,  please reconsider bringing back any throwback Lakeshore catalogs you have from the past as an absolute proof that you all truly did a job well done creating high-quality educational products for kids of all ages throughout the years (if there's any, of course). Or if I may suggest, too, combine a few Toys To Grow On items to be featured on future Lakeshore catalogs. Wouldn't that be a great idea to make a special catalog like that for everyone to enjoy? I'm hoping that you'll print more Lakeshore catalogs as well as to have more new educational products in the future for more generations to come! I'd really appreciate it either way if you do.Thank you!
