I wanted to do another video talking about C ratings and charging and discharging and also storage of your lipo batteries. I hope it helps you all with these confusing numbers a little bit.

What is max discharge rate for lipo batteries either thru your charger or external device.

wish turnigy and others would watch this or video on capacity and C rating so maybe they could correctly label their batteries. they actually preform way under their specs allways.

Hi Quadcopter 101,
Can you please help? My 15 year old son just got one of these Syma X5C-1.
Someone told me that the Lipo batteries are very dangerous, so I search for videos here on YouTube, and now I'm freaking out. Are these little 3.7 Volts / one cell batteries the same as those bigger ones / multiple cells (used on DIY RC)? Do we need to take the same steps when storing/not using the batteries? Do we need a special charger to put them into storage mode? Please help!

On my charger I set it up for a 4s lipo to storage charge then set my discharge rate up to max my charger can discharge at 5 amps max and my charge rate I will set to 1c for storage charging.  Hopefully that helps.

Hi, is there any need to discharge a lipo before charging it? Or can you charge to full from any voltage? Thanks.
