Backing Track Southern Rock in A (Mixolydian) for guitar or any other instrument (80 BPM). You can use the A Minor Pentatonic Scale (Am Pentatonic), A Major Pentatonic Scale or the A Mixolydian Scale to improvise over this track.

► Note:
- The A Mixolydian Scale has the same notes as the D Major Scale / B Minor Scale.
- The A Minor Pentatonic Scale has the same notes as the A Mixolydian Scale, except for the note C (b3). The A Mixolydian scale includes the note C# (3), so you can always bend the note C towards C#.
- If you use the A Major Pentatonic Scale, try to include the minor third (b3) now and then to add some spice ;)
► With this backing track you can practice chords, triads, scales, pentatonics, arpeggios, solos and improvisations.

I love this track so much, and I love the music track videos you post! I have a suggestion: In your next backing track video, make the chord progressions Ab-Gb-Bbm-Db, (Key: Ab Mixolydian / Db Major).

This is a great track if you are trying to get your head around modes, and treat the chords as a D major progression. There are so many note choices and perspectives available in these type of progressions.
