Backing Track Southern Rock in G Mixolydian / C Major for guitar or any other instrument (80 BPM). You can use the G Major Pentatonic Scale, G Minor Pentatonic Scale or the G Mixolydian Scale to improvise over this track. Have fun! :)
► Note:
- The G Mixolydian Scale has the same notes as the C Major Scale / A Minor Scale.
- The G Minor Pentatonic Scale has the same notes as the G Mixolydian Scale, except for the note Bb (b3). The D Mixolydian scale includes the note B (3), so you can always bend the note Bb / A# towards B.
- If you use the G Major Pentatonic Scale, try to include the minor third (b3) now and then to add some spice ;)
► With this backing track you can practice chords, triads, scales, pentatonics, arpeggios, solos and improvisations.

Great track ! I'm studying the Allman brothers now. I have more gain and delay than Beets or Duane . But I'm using their style and sound ..maybe more of a Warren Haynes who has more gain ect. I think it's important to study as many players as I can. Then but my own twist to it .

The progression is in G. G Myxolydian, the notes are the same as C Major but the starting note is different. G pentatonic works also better than C pentatonic. If you wanna keep it simple.
