This is a BLT sandwich with avocado in it, some good white bread and some green leaf lettuce. Sandwiches are important to me, and this is my way to crafting the best BLT sandwich

My grandfather lived in the Bronx had a small garden patch and grew tomatoes larger than softballs. Once you have a great tomato everything else isn’t good enough.

Gotta LOVE a fresh tomato. Growing up we had a pretty big garden at our house. I could count on always having a good tomato sandwich or salted tomato for lunch at the end of summer.

My mum is 85 years, so a 'war child' During WW2 she was evacuated from Liverpool due to the bombing. Rationing meant Brits had to queue for hours for 'one' tomato. To this day she still looks at a tomato with awe! Her favourite is the 'beef' tomato the one in your video. Great video as always Steve you are a genius.
