I lived in Cincinnati Ohio when my daughter was born a; I had 12 months of Medicaid and obstetric care. I moved to Mississippi when my daughter was 5 months old and was unable to get Medicaid. This was CRC 2004. As I am just learning that there are many states that don't offer the same Medicaid coverage. I hate to say that I'm surprised- I didn't know I was ignorant of that. I was blessed to have the care I received in my state at the time. It's in comprehensible that every state doesn't offer the same Medicaid benefits

We should, look after our youngest and most vulnerable citizens…if you’re pro life then this access to postpartum healthcare should be an issue you support. Banning abortions you must especially improve this care because most women who seek abortion can’t afford the child they carry…if you can’t afford to feed yourself and house yourself and the man is gone now…this is a solution to avoid the baby dying or the mother and child dying just after birth.😅

I am Canadian and can't imagine not having free health care. My wife had cancer twice, my son had free hip replacements, which if you had to pay would be $12000 in Canada, not $40, 000 like in the US. Another son spent a week in the hospital when he got sick. $0. We just got free dental for seniors and children if you make under $90k per year. Most countries have free health care, including Cuba.
