Paul Davies - Why are Science and Theology so Fascinating?

Science and theology both reach for the heavens. Both seek the deep truths of existence and human life. Scientific facts, once demonstrated, are recognized widely as correct, but science may be limited in its scope.

Modern science recognizes the "quanta" as a "bundle of energy". Modern science said that matter came into existence after the forces of nature came about which came into existence after the trigger of the bang. What could of banged but energy? It was the only thing in existence supposedly at that time.

I propose that when the internal structure of the quanta is one way, it's interactions with itself and with other quanta, and certain forces of nature are in existence. When the internal structure is rearranged by some means, new interactions occur with possibly new forces of nature coming about along with possibly a release of energy. And, if the universe "banged" once, could it "bang" again? Why couldn't it? Maybe even in the very next moment of time? And why exactly haven't the current forces of nature "evolved" by now since the original conditions acting upon them are no longer acting upon them like it originally was; billions of years have supposedly elapsed; in a supposedly expanding universe whereby energy that could not supposedly be created nor destroyed would be getting less and less dense? What happens to the universe and all in it including us, probably when, not if, the forces of nature "evolve"? Maybe even in the very next moment of time? (With or without "God" being in existence).

Possibly different universes came before ours and new universes will come after ours in never ending fluctuations due to the never ending internal realignment of the supposed eternal quanta? Truth is still truth even if it is unexpected, unwanted, and not beneficial to us in future eternity. Delude yourselves all you want to, nature will still do it's own thing.

Somehow I feel consciousnesses is connected to God in some capacity. Perhaps God was the first consciousness or is merely a concept just like consciousness?

Why invoke theology at all? It has no legs to stand on.
