If life is a description on an emergent property of a system we need not look for a new physics to quantise life as life would not be a thing in itself. Would we need an alternate physics to explain wetness when this in a description of an emergent property dependent on the state and quantity of water? These short videos are interesting enough but a bit too sounditey for me to get much of a grasp of what is being expounded. Ah well, I suspect that may be a flaw on my part.

Paul Davies makes no mention of the research into abiogenesis, if this avenue is successful then there’s no need to discover life elsewhere for the answer.
