If you watched my other videos, you already know how old and raggedy my fence is – I’m so embarrassed! Every SINGLE time the landscapers come to mow, pieces of my fence break apart – true story, you’ll see! We’ve discussed replacing it for years and the time has finally come! Join me as I show you exactly how we replaced our dilapidated fence OURSELVES! I’m soooo proud of us 😊
I was able to reduce the cost of things by purchasing 70% marked down wood from Lowes - thats were I found the wood for all the rails (gotta make sure they're all fairly straight first though). They used to give it all away for free, but I noticed all that changed earlier this year. Prior to that time, all the pickets I used for the gate were free! I routinely collect wood but the pickets were a very intentional move - I knew this home improvement project was coming.
