Another thing I learned is if you use the paper mask too long to save money, the little particulate fibers can come off and give you pulmonary fibrosis in the long run so change them out regularly

How's this holding up? I just had eye surgery yesterday that's life changing. I can't get any dust from cutting grass, etc...in my eye. Seems like it will do the job for me.

I hadn't thought about it for a while but sand really is a type of silica and there are actually OSHA rules for silica inhalation and prevention of lung disease due to breathing in silica. The question is what to use that will block the silica but not suffocate you in the hot weather

Do you know how these would compare to surgical masks for dealing with grass, dust, and pollen when cutting grass? I have controlled asthma and wonder if these would be better. The surgical masks are not working that great. Thanks! Marty
