Thank you so much for posting this! My dad just passed recently and I’ve ended up taking on the continueed custodial care of his beloved srx meticulously serviced ONLY AT THE CADILLAC DEALER is how he did things so the vehicle is in great shape however this noise had been bothering him and he never brought it in because he got sick and wasnt driven last part of the year. I found an invoice of I think it’s last service 7/2019 @ 74, 000 miles it’s got 80k today. A 9 page invoice totaling $5500 with an hvac service being part of it, replaced an oracle tube recharged eye sealed, brakes/rotors plus calipers, engine tranny and fuel filters and fluids, plus 6 plugs and 6 coils. Your video will help me so much because that noise stopped but then the heater also stopped working on the drivers side. Pass side blows up to 165 degrees or low as 39, the drivers side is ONLY 39 which isn’t comfy this time of year,

question- is the one your replacing for the main temp adjust or the one for the drivers on, y? Also since I’ll be in there anyways do these actuators go out in blocks, is it wise to go ahead and replace the others because I’m already there or not so common?

Also if you don’t mind me asking, the back gate will not let me access it no matter of what order I lock/unlock it or unlock it multiple times it’s just not letting me open acting how it would act if the car was in gear and you tried opening it same feeling, fyi recently I did replace the reverse lights recently with some LED upgrades which required me to have the whole interior piece taken apart as far it opened fine for a week then nothing, are you aware of any locks or releases to get that gate opened?

Thanks again for your time I really appreciate it

Thank you for sharing this great video! For those who have not replace their actuator, unplug the one you suspect is making the clicking first because it may be the other side that is the problem.

Sweet video!! Question are there two blend door actuators on thimese model vehicles being it has dual passenger temperature on the EATC. Also is there a blend door for the rear EATC. My rear doesn't change temp, any help would be greatly appreciated. My cadillac forum group isn't worth a damn sadly

How do you allign the square shaft to the actuator motor . Plug in the actuator and turn the dial to align it? Then put on shaft and bolt up?or turn the door shaft to allign with the actuator then hold it all up to bolt the actuator down.

Hey, if you happen to see this, would you know if those two acuators are the same part number/interchangable? Thanks for the video, one of the best I've seen. Hope the day finds you well.

Nice video- and helpful- BUT, I followed these steps, saw the actuator, but there is a large duct, or some other obstruction in the way. There is no way to access it on my 2004 DeVille. Looks like the mechanic will be getting some of my money.

I had my mechanic put it in With his body facing upside down. but the back seat still blows hot I wonder if it's the part? Or he simply did not do it right ...this is for the back seat of a 2003 deville right?
