How to remove the door panel and replace a Window Regulator in a:

2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 Cadillac Deville or DTS DHS or STS.

Window regulators are common malfunctions in these cars. The motor rarely fails, but the regulator cables do. Buy a replacement regulator and replace it yourself!

Just did this on a 2005 Deville. I thank you very much. This is how a tutorial should be. "Step by step with minimal margin for error."I could have not done this without this video. Took me a bit to get the second screw off the guide rail that holds the window. Its a tight space. Thanks again

Hi Greg! Thank you for posting this. I have a 2000 Cadillac Deville DTS that had what I thought to be a bad window regulator.

My boyfriend was able to take everything apart and get the new one in there (thanks to your video :) ) but when we went to test it (before reassembling) we found that when trying to raise the window it starts slowing down at the halfway point and then if you keep holding it will go again but stops shortly before the top.

We’ve read tons of articles and tried resetting the “stop points”, read my manual, and tried loosening/tightening bolts and nothing is working. Any ideas?!

Hoping by some miracle you’ll see this and have some ideas for us!

I changed my 03 Deville drivers door. I typed a rope to the new wire harness but I can't get into the car .do you know how I can find the passage from inside please?
